High Table with Guest Speaker Cameron Bailey
Massey College’s High Table is a cherished formal dinner tradition, bringing together the College community for an evening of academic gowns, candlelit three-course dining, and engaging conversation with distinguished guests from across the worlds of academia, culture, and public life.
The October High Table will be dedicated to the vital role of the arts in a fractured world. This special evening will follow a panel discussion presented in collaboration with the ALIPH Foundation, exploring the protection of the arts and cultural heritage in times of uncertainty. The High Table will continue this important conversation, bringing together panel participants, members of the Massey community, and guests committed to the advancement, preservation, and celebration of the arts.
We are honoured to welcome our distinguished guest speaker, Cameron Bailey.
A leading figure in Canadian cinema, Cameron Bailey is a film critic, curator, and festival programmer who serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Through his leadership at TIFF and his lifelong dedication to film and cultural storytelling, he has played a significant role in shaping Canada’s cultural landscape. Massey College is delighted to welcome him for this special evening of reflection, dialogue, and celebration of the arts.
From 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. there will be a reception in the Junior Common Room (JCR).
The dinner will begin at 6:30.
