The subjects of Pat’s work from this period are environmental pollution and workers’ health in in Canada in the 70s. The destruction of the Canadian landscape and poor regard for Canada’s indigenous population continues to this day, which makes the work current .

The exhibition is related to the work of Pat’s late husband Dr. David Parkinson, who  fought a lead pollution case in Toronto in the 1970’s. Pat started recording this and other environmental problems in  prints, drawings and mixed media.
