Our Massey is Lunch program is well underway. Senior Fellows, Members of the Quadrangle Society and Journalism Fellows are all invited to connect with Junior Fellows. If you haven’t yet, please follow this link and sign up for a lunch date. You will then be paired with one or two Junior Fellows to dine with on the indicated day. It is a way to make up for all this lost time in building intergenerational exchanges. Also note that we are open and serving breakfast and lunch throughout the months of June and July. On June 13th we are hosting Khaled Almaeena at Massey, a veteran Saudi journalist, commentator, businessman and former Editor-in-Chief of Arab News and the Saudi Gazette. Join us at 5:00pm in the Upper Library. He will be speaking on the “Middle East and its political undercurrents.”
On Friday, June 17th from 7:00-10:00pm Massey is hosting the film screening of the CBC Documentary: In Search of a Better World based on Senior Fellow Payam Akhavan’s 2017 CBC Massey Lectures. Join us at the George Ignatieff Theatre at Trinity College (15 Devonshire Pl.) for the screening followed by a panel discussion with Payam Akhavan and the Canada Director at Human Rights Watch, Farida Deif.
