On a very sad note, I write to let you all know that on November 2nd Senior Fellow Monique Nemni passed away suddenly. Monique was a vibrant and generous member of our community and will be deeply missed. Please join me in giving our deepest condolences and support to her husband, Senior Fellow Max Nemni and their family. There will be a celebration of life for Monique at Turner and Porter Funeral home, 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, on January 8 from 2 to 5 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Amnesty International or MSF.

- I am very pleased that our filmmaker-in residence Peter Raymont , with Director Barri Cohen, will be showing Unloved: Huronia’s Forgotten Children on December 8. It is a wonderful movie that I have had the chance to view: every Ontarian should see it. RSVP
