Congratulations to Senior Fellow Michael Tulloch, who was appointed as the Chief Justice of Ontario at the end of December. You can read more about his appointment, here.
Congratulations are also in order for the many Massey College members who were appointed to the Order of Canada as well as those who received promotions within the order:
- Senior Fellow Ron Diebert, Officer of the Order of Canada – for his leadership and expertise in digital technology, security and human rights, and for his groundbreaking contributions to cyber security around the globe.
- Senior Fellow Eva Grunfeld, Officer of the Order of Canada – for her influential research in cancer prevention and survivorship care, particularly within a primary care setting.
- Senior Fellow Harry LaForme, Officer of the Order of Canada – for advancing national Indigenous rights as a groundbreaking jurist, and for championing underserved communities in Canada.
- Senior Fellow Andreas Laupacis, Officer of the Order of Canada – for his ongoing contributions to the field of medicine and to a broad range of health care initiatives in Canada and around the world.
- Quadrangle Society Member Martin Katz, Member of the Order of Canada – for his contributions to the Canadian film, television and media industries, as a producer and leading innovator.

Junior Fellow Chukwunonso Nwabufo has received CIHR Canada Graduate Scholarships – Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplements Award to support the investigation of the strategies for improving the clinical efficacy and safety profile of COVID-19 drugs.
