News and Events

Dear friends of Massey College, chers collègues,

I had a remarkable day last Friday. At lunchtime, we had a very inspiring reflection from the Right Honorable Adrienne Clarkson on her 2014 Massey Lecture on Belonging: The Paradox of Citizenship. In the evening, the first Junior Fellows Lecture Series took place: for five minutes each, several Junior Fellows presented their research. It was extraordinary: from how to make MRNA vaccine safer to better imaging for cancer, from impact of work on success in university studies to prisoner’s rights, from what makes find something beautiful to the integrity of Pakistani textile design, from food insecurity in immigrant populations to investment in mining, it was a wonderful and instructive evening.  We will invite the community for the next iteration. In the meantime, sign up for Massey is lunch, it is a very simple way to get to know our extraordinary Junior Fellows and have lunch in our beautiful Ondaatje Hall     https://calendly.com/amackenzie-1/massey-is-lunch?month=2023-09&amp%3Bdate=2023-09-21
