Happy 2022, despite its rocky start.
First let me begin with a wonderful news. We are now very privileged to count on Her Honour Elizabeth Dowdeswell’s official patronage for the duration of her tenure as Lieutenant Governor of the province. Her Honour was already a Senior Fellow at Massey College and was also a wonderful supporter and friend of the College and particularly its relationship with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We look forward to having her participate even more to our activities.
Second, like many other Ontarians, our ambitious plans for some fabulous in- person programs in January are delayed. We will now be offering online only events until at least January 26th. The kitchen will remain open and offer cafeteria style, take-out dining for our Junior Fellows and residents. We will continue to inform you about the changes to our COVID protocol.
Please join us virtually for the Massey Dialogues this Wednesday, January 5th from 4:00-5:00pm ET on The Art of Science-Telling: How Science Education Can Shape Society. Farah Kaiser (Evidence for Democracy), Bonnie Schmidt (Let’s Talk Science) and Junior Fellow Keshna Sood will discuss what the non-profit sector can do for science education and policy. Q&A to follow.
