Les “Senior Residents” sont des universitaires ou des professionnels distingués de partout au Canada et dans le monde qui souhaitent vivre au Collège ou louer un bureau. Ils peuvent représenter n’importe quelle profession ou discipline universitaire.
Sandra Hobbs is a specialist in Québécois literature and postcolonial theory. After obtaining her PhD at the University of Toronto (2004), she held faculty positions at Wayne State University (Detroit, MI) and the University of the West Indies (St. Augustine campus). She has published articles on resistance writing in Quebec literature of the Quiet Revolution and is currently working on a database of indigenous characters in the Quebec novel from the mid-19th century to the present day.
Ruediger Willenberg teaches Embedded and Reconfigurable Systems at his alma mater, Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, Germany. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s PhD program in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a former Massey Junior Fellow. His research interests include design tools for embedded systems and reconfigurable integrated circuits. During his sabbatical, Ruediger will focus on improving hardware description languages to specify and program such systems. He’s always loved writing about himself in the third person.
La nomination est pour la durée de l’année universitaire. Les candidats sont invités à soumettre un CV et une lettre décrivant leur travail prévu au Collège, ainsi que la façon dont ils envisagent de participer à la vie du Collège.
