Please note that starting today and tomorrow, Massey College will be used as a filming location for a spinoff of a popular Amazon Prime series. This means that there will be some disruptions in access to public spaces at the College. Please note that the dining hall remains open for breakfast and lunch throughout the filming.

Monday, June 6th  

  • Junior Common Room and College Quad will be unavailable all day. 
  • Residents, staff and visitors are asked to avoid crossing the Quad by entering/exiting the building through the back gate or using the entrance adjacent to the Porter’s Lodge and to access rooms and or offices through the lower level of the building  

Tuesday, June 7th 

  • The filming will be complete on Tuesday, but crew members will be on site disassembling props. 
  • Common rooms as well as the quad will be accessible all day, with furniture in place by midday.

On Friday, June 17th from 7:00-10:00pm Massey is hosting an evening of reflection with the film screening of the CBC Gem Documentary: In Search of a Better World, the remarkable story of Payam Akhavan, a Massey Senior Fellow and one of the world’s leading human rights lawyers. Junior Fellow Rena Roussin received one of the Faculty of Music’s six teaching awards in the music research teaching assistantship division.
