The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is this Saturday, September 30. The University of Toronto will commemorate with an online and in person event on Friday, September 29 – remarks from Alexandra Gillespie, Vice-President & Principal, University of Toronto Mississauga, and Rose Patten, Chancellor, University of Toronto, in the Great Hall at Hart House. David Kim, Warden, Hart House, will host the commemoration. I encourage you to join us.

Join us in the Quadrangle from 4:00-6:00pm to lift your voice in song with Ojibwe Elder, Storyteller, and song keeper Elder Garry Sault of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Elder Sault will lead us in an interactive workshop on Ojibwe singing and the dynamic being of song within Indigenous life and traditions. RSVP here.

This is a special cooperation with the Royal Society of Canada – join us.
