A Milestone Celebration: 35 Years of Journalism Excellence
An evening commemorating the Canadian Journalism Foundation’s 35-year story of championing Canadian journalism.

Join us for a panel discussion that captures moments that have shaped not only the CJF but Canadian journalism’s evolution over three decades. CJF Chair Kathy English will moderate a conversation featuring:
- Dr. Frederic (Eric) Jackman, CJF Founder
- Beth Haddon, CJF Honorary Governor
- Angela Pacienza, CJF Vice-Chair
- Jason McBride, author of As Journalism Goes, So Goes Democracy
- Daniel Reale-Chin, former CJF-Globe and Mail Black Business Journalism Fellow
This evening celebrates not just our history, but the ongoing mission of supporting and fostering excellence in Canadian journalism.
The panel discussion will be followed by a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception and guest will receive a copy of As Journalism Goes, So Goes Democracy: A History of the Canadian Journalism Foundation.
