Anishinaabemowin Program for Massey Community – Winter Term
Special to the Massey Community and back by popular demand, this 8-week introductory Anishinaabemowin course will cover the basic tools for students to continue to learn Anishinaabemowin independently or in the community.
Each week, participants will be introduced to a new aspect of Anishinaabemowin and practice it by creating their own meaning. Participants will be supported visually, tactilely, and auditorily throughout the duration of the course. While most activities can be completed with pen and paper, a device (laptop, smartphone, tablet) connected to the internet is advisable to access digital resources.
No assessments or evaluations will be conducted in terms of participant performance. It is advisable that any interested participants attend at least two of the first four weeks, even if they will miss more than one session throughout the duration.
Dates: January 20, 27, February 10, 17, March 9,16, 23, April 6.
10:30am to 12:00pm in the Round Room at Massey College
