Career Transitions – Planning, Surviving, and Thriving when Switching Career Tracks

This event is a Change Leadership Session, hosted and facilitated by Massey College’s “Change Maker in Residence”, Peter Sloly.

This first “change leadership session” for the 2024-25 term will help Junior Fellows to examine the need to anticipate, plan for, and execute multiple career transitions over their working lives. JF participants will explore current and near-term changes taking place that will impact their career paths – from artificial intelligence, to politics/economics/demographics, to personal wellness, to professional ethics, etc. Real world examples of successful and less successful career transitions will be examined (including the option of working in professional services/consulting companies) to identify and share lessons learned and best/better practices. As always, these in-person sessions are hosted and facilitated by Massey’s “Change Maker in Residence”, Peter Sloly – Peter will create a safe environment for engaging discussion over the course of a full meal in the intimate setting of Massey’s private dining room. These events have all sold out in the past, so please register early to secure your place.
