Fireside Chat with Dr. John Borrows
This event is exclusively for the Junior Fellowship at Massey College.
Join us for a toasty evening fireside discussion with Senior Fellow Dr. John Borrows, one of Canada’s leading Indigenous legal scholars, about advancing reconciliation in our academic and professional fields. Dr Borrows will share his perspectives on the role of Indigenous law and rights in Canadian society, exploring how reconciliation intersects with areas including but not limited to health, environment, education, and art. Following his talk, we’ll have facilitated dialogues focused on real-life situations we may face in our disciplines as Junior Fellows. This event promises an enriching and practical discussion on ways to bring the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action into our careers.
