Identify, Assist & Refer Training and Mental Health Discussion Drop-in

The Health and Wellness committee invites you to join our online drop-in session for Identify, Assist & Refer (IAR) training.

IAR can help you to:

1) Identify when someone is having a mental health crisis

2) how to provide immediate assistance

3) how to refer them to support services for further assistance.

IAR is offered as a 20-min training that can be completed online. During this session, you can complete this training together with other JFs and get any other questions about mental health answered.

We would also like to hear any other thoughts and suggestions you may have for other mental health related events you would like to see at Massey. Finally, we will also be giving a brief overview of other training options if you are interested in furthering your mental wellness education.
