Junior Fellow Lecture Series – Artificial Intelligence
Presented by the Junior Fellows, these lectures take place roughly once a month and invite three Junior Fellows to give an after dinner lecture on a chosen topic through the lens of their various fields of study.
September’s topic is Artificial Intelligence:
Minori Narita, a PhD candidate in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering will present on “Deep Reinforcement Learning to Optimize Vehicle Routes”.
Dashiel Carrera, a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science – “Unraveling the Digital Muse: Metaphor, AI, and the Search for New Creativity”.
Anne-Marie Fowler, a PhD candidate in the Department for the Study of Religion in collaboration with the Anne Tanenbaum Centre for Jewish Studies- “How AI (might?) read Genesis”.
