The Massey Dialogues – On the Fiscal Journey out of COVID

Wednesday, December 2 at 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm EST

This event will be broadcast online and is welcome to all – there is no login or registration required to tune in from the comfort of home. Click here to watch the livestream.

Three Massey economists confront the fiscal conundrum of our times: how to deal morally, equitably, and constructively with Canada’s COVID debt. Senior Fellow Armine Yalnizyan — The Atkinson Fellow on the Future of Workers — sets the stage for the discussion. She’ll talk with Senior Fellow Brett House, Vice-President and Deputy Chief Economist at Scotiabank, and Alumna Maripier Isabelle, Assistant Professor of Economics at l’Université Laval. Senior Fellow Michael Valpy will host.

Participants are invited to submit questions to the speakers in real time via the youtube channel’s chat function. For information about the Massey Dialogues salon series, click here.
