Afghan Women’s Fellowship Program

Join us for a virtual symposium celebrating the research accomplishments of the Afghan fellows in the Afghan Women’s Fellowship Program at Massey College. The event will showcase the diverse and inspiring work fellows have completed over the past year across a range of disciplines and themes. It offers an opportunity to hear about their research, reflect on their achievements, and celebrate the ideas, insights, and contributions they have brought to the Massey College community.

The symposium will open with remarks from Dr. James Orbinski, Principal of Massey College. We are also honoured to welcome David Edwards, President of the American University of Afghanistan, and NurJehan Mawani, Senior Fellow and Inaugural Chair in Global Engagement at Massey College, as guest speakers.

The programme will then feature research presentations by the AWFP fellows, with remarks from their respective Senior Fellows. Closing remarks will be delivered by Prof. Aisha Ahmad, Academic Chair of AWFP.
