Junior Fellowship
What is a Junior Fellow?
Junior Fellows are students at the University of Toronto, representing a wide range of disciplines, interests, and backgrounds. They are either registered with the School of Graduate Studies or pursuing professional degrees such as business, law, medicine, or dentistry.
The College offers an exceptional academic and personal experience, fostering a supportive and inclusive community in which members are encouraged to broaden their intellectual, social, and cultural horizons. A defining feature of the Junior Fellowship application process is the question: “What will you bring to the life of the College?”
Junior Fellows also participate in a strong tradition of self-governance. They elect their own committee members twice annually and actively organize a wide range of programming, including conferences, panel discussions, film screenings, book clubs, literary publications, and community fundraising initiatives.
