AI and Human Societies
AI and Human Societies: AI for Mental Health, Companionship, and Independent Living
How might AI support mental health, offer companionship, and help with independent living?
Join the AI and Human Societies Group, where Renée Sirbu and Abhishek Moturu will present the next seminar on AI in mental health, ageing, and everyday relationships. What does empathy mean when we interact with AI? When might these tools strengthen independence or create dependence? How should the priorities of people receiving care shape their use? We’ll consider dignity, privacy, and the place of human relationships throughout the conversation. All College members and all levels of AI knowledge and experience are welcome. Please join the conversation. No technical background or preparation is needed.
This event will take place in the Round Room.
