Chapel Explorations – Water: Essence of Life
Water is essential to all life on Earth. All human societies have understood this. Across cultures and traditions, it is seen as a sacred element that connects the physical and spiritual realms, and it is the basis of purification in multiple religions. It is under threat everywhere from human activity – and yet all of us have a deep and elemental connection to it.
Join us on Tuesday, November 3, 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Chapel, for another in our series of Explorations. Participants will offer their thoughts about the role and meaning of water in their lives, their work, or their play. The format will be a Listening Circle, in which each person speaks in turn – not a debate or a seminar, but a space to share and to learn.
All are welcome – Junior and Senior Fellows, Quadranglers, Visiting Scholars, Journalism Fellows, Staff. Light refreshments will be served.
No registration required.
