High Table Celebrating Journalism

Massey College’s High Table is a cherished formal dinner tradition, bringing together the College community for an evening of academic gowns, candlelit three-course dining, and thoughtful conversation with distinguished guests from across the worlds of academia, culture, journalism, and public life.

The Welcome High Table on September 25 will celebrate the arrival of our newest Junior Fellows and Journalism Fellows, marking the beginning of their journey within the Massey College community. We are delighted to welcome an exceptional group of journalists, including the MC Omar Sachedina, Chief Anchor and Senior Editor of CTV National News; and our esteemed Guest Speaker David Walmsley, We will also be joined by Editor-in-Chief of The Globe and Mail; and Matina Stevis-Gridneff, Canada Bureau Chief for The New York Times, alongside many other distinguished voices in Canadian and international journalism.

Their presence reflects the longstanding connection between Massey College and the worlds of journalism, public discourse, and the exchange of ideas. We look forward to welcoming our newest Fellows and celebrating the beginning of what we hope will be a rich and enduring chapter in their lives at the College.

The evening will begin with a reception in the Junior Common Room (JCR) from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.

All ticket prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include HST.
