On Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 12:15 p.m., the William Southam Journalism Fellows welcome Professor Giancarlo Fiorella.

Dr. Giancarlo Fiorella is the Director of Research & Training at Bellingcat, an international digital collective of investigators who publish research using open source data and methods. He is also an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University's Global Justice Investigations Lab, where he teaches digital open source investigative methods. Dr. Fiorella's doctoral work at the Centre for Criminology & Sociolegal Studies at the University of Toronto explored the role of non-state actors in the policing of anti-government protests in Venezuela between 2014 and 2018.
